Overview
A trip to the UAE isn't complete without a visit to Abu Dhabi.
Take a journey back to where it all began on December 03, 1971 - the capital & business hub of the UAE. Abu Dhabi is the largest of the UAE's seven emirates.
Our city tour will give you insight into the ancient history of the city and its move to become the wonderful mixture of tradition & modernity it is today. The key is the visit of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, an architectural work of art; this mosque is one of the largest in the world with a capacity of 41,000 worshipers.
It has seven imported chandeliers that incorporate millions of Swarovski crystals. The largest chandelier is the second largest known chandelier inside a mosque, the third largest in the world. The carpet in the main prayer hall is considered to be the world's largest carpet.
There are 2,268,000,000 knots within the carpet & it took approximately 2 years to complete. The grand mosque is voted the world's second favorite landmark by TripAdvisor.
